What Are Passkeys?
A simple, safer way to log in without passwords. Here's everything you need to know.

Your Device Becomes Your Password
A passkey works like a secure digital key that lives on your phone, laptop, or tablet. Instead of typing a password, you simply unlock your device with your fingerprint, face, or PIN.
When you log in to a website, your device proves it's really you—without sending any password over the internet. The website never sees your fingerprint or PIN.
Why it's safer: Even if hackers break into a website's servers, they can't steal your passkey because it never leaves your device. With passwords, hackers can steal them and use them anywhere.
How It Works

Registration
You create a passkey on a website. Your device creates a secure connection that only works with that specific website.
Challenge
When you return to log in, the website asks your device to prove it's really you.
Authentication
You unlock your device with your fingerprint, face, or PIN. The website confirms it's you and logs you in instantly.
