Device Setup
Before creating a passkey, select your platform to see specific requirements:
iPhone & iPad Requirements
- iOS 16 or iPadOS 16 or later
- iCloud Keychain turned ON
- Two-factor authentication enabled for Apple ID
Universal Rule: You must have a screen lock (PIN, pattern, or biometric) enabled on any device you want to use with passkeys.
